ST-246 DSV is a type of marine engineering auxiliary vessel with top performance capacity. It would be ranked as top 10 DSV globally after built. SKIPSTEKNISK in Norway developed the conception design and part of basic design. Shanghai Bestway took on the detail design and rest basic design, while Huangpu Wenchong was in charge of the production design. This type of ship has the length of 124M, breadth of 24M, moulded depth of 10.2M, with design draft of 6.5M and 900 square meters deck area. Its navigation speed reaches 14.5 knots. It meets the accommodation of 120 people with the endurance of 45 days. It’s equipped with 4 units of 3490 KW diesel main generator set, 2 stern Azimuthing propellers, 2 retractable bow thrusters and 2 pipe type bow thrusters. It is installed with electrical hydraulic main crane with AHC function (250T lift capacity, 3000M operating water depth), DP3 system, stationary 300M water depth saturation diving system for 24 people and air diving operation system.
