INFORMATION
The bow and midship were built in 1986 at a Dutch shipyard. The stern was built at the same shipyard in 1991. The vessel was built as a motor tanker type N-closed. In 2016, the vessel was converted to a motor tanker suitable for the transport of non-hazardous vegetable oils and fats. The Bureau Veritas class certificate has expired.
During conversion, the bottom and skin trusses were fitted with cover plate of 8 mm. The tank deck including deck trusses were sandblasted bright. Tankducts were applied to the tank floor, tank walls and center longitudinal bulkhead. The suction and discharge lines on the tank deck were newly installed and are made of stainless steel. The valves were replaced with better quality ones in 2017.
The two existing cargo pumps were installed on deck and are each driven by a Dotroit Diesel diesel engine. The BB cargo pump and SB cargo pump engine were overhauled in 2017. A new hot water boiler was installed in the forward engine room in 2020. A butterworth pump incl. heat exchanger was installed in the aft engine room. At the rear of tank 6, a space was set up as a slop tank.
The fore and aft peak was cleaned with a high-pressure sprayer in 2016. The forepeak received 2 coats of preservative. The aft peak was provided with 1 coat of preservation.
The 1,200 hp Caterpillar main engine was newly installed in 2026. Gearbox was also renewed. The propulsion system is further equipped with water-lubricated propeller shaft, 5 blade Cunial propeller and nozzle.
The vessel is further equipped with hydraulic steering with 2 rudders and a 360 hp bow thruster system.
The electrical system is equipped with 2x generator sets of 65 kVA each. The electrical installation was recently largely renewed / modernized by the company Van der Wal.
The vessel can (possibly) be delivered with a T/C from a charterer.
